Aria & Louis Engagement Session at Grand Central & NYPL

Aria & Louis’ engagement session felt like a quiet, cinematic morning in the heart of New York.

We started inside Grand Central Terminal, just as the light began to pour through those iconic arched windows. The space was almost empty, a rare stillness in a place that’s usually filled with movement.

And somehow, it felt like the entire city paused for them.

They walked through the main hall hand in hand, completely present with each other. There was no rush, no over-posing — just natural movement and connection. The way they looked at each other said everything.

From there, we moved to New York Public Library, where the mood shifted into something softer, more refined.

Aria changed into a flowing, neutral-toned dress that moved effortlessly with every step. It brought a softness to the architecture — this contrast between structure and movement that felt incredibly elegant.

Louis kept things classic and understated beside her, which made everything feel balanced and intentional.

Inside the library, the light wrapped around them in the most beautiful way. The marble, the arches, the quiet — it all created space for something that felt almost cinematic, but still completely real.

There was a moment where she spun and the fabric of her dress caught the air — and it was one of those frames that doesn’t just look beautiful… it feels like something.

What I loved most about this session is how effortlessly they moved between both worlds.

The energy of Grand Central — bold, iconic, alive.
And the quiet elegance of the library — timeless, soft, and intimate.

Together, it told a story that feels very true to New York… and to them.

If you’re drawn to engagement photos that feel elevated, natural, and deeply connected — I guide my couples through an experience that brings that vision to life.

I photograph a limited number of sessions each year to keep the experience intentional and personal.
