There’s something breathtaking about photographing a love story in a city as grand and timeless as London. For Jamie and Taylor, this engagement session wasn’t just about capturing their joy before the wedding, it was about preserving the memories of a city that had been home during such a special season in their lives.
At the time, Jamie and Taylor were living in London and preparing for a major transition: moving back to New Jersey just in time for their wedding day. With all the emotion of change in the air, this shoot became more than just portraits, it was a beautiful farewell to the place where they built so many memories as a couple.
We spent the morning exploring some of London’s most iconic and cinematic locations. From the stately presence of Big Ben, to the romantic energy near the London Eye, and the dramatic lines of Tower Bridge every backdrop felt like a page from a storybook. These weren’t just landmarks, they were part of their personal story.
What I love most about engagement sessions like this is how honest they feel. Jamie and Taylor weren’t performing. They were simply being with each other, in a city they loved, on the edge of a new chapter. Their connection, captured against the iconic London skyline, gave us a gallery of images that feels both timeless and deeply personal.
Just a few weeks later, they returned home to say “I do” in an equally stunning celebration at Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury in New Jersey, a wedding full of heart, beauty, and the same effortless style that defined their London shoot.
